We get 10 attendance points, I had 8, so I knew I could afford to use one, I called in Friday, and then I came in the next day and was sent home and told to wait till Monday to speak with HR by management, so whatever, I do that figuring I’ll get some sort of warning despite being scheduled the next day, and being told to not worry about it.
Come Monday I call and I’ve been fired, I’m not surprised, but why as a manager, would you tell me to wait till Monday to fire me. I could’ve spent all weekend looking for work elsewhere, now I’ve got another job lined up, but I could’ve had it lined up 2 days earlier!
I loved working there, it paid good only downside was the hour commute.
It’s just so dumb man. Be efficient about it at least.
