Like the title says, I was fired because the new manager coming in didn't want the old administrations people around. I worked my ass off for that company cough cough Paytech cough. I spent 4 years giving my best and going above and beyond, so much so that I was even recognized for a Employee of the Year type award. My manager began noticing some issues with how executives were treating our department and asked that we be all treated equally, this was no good for them so they did everything they could to run him out and when he didn't they fired him. He was the best boss I ever had. Always understood work life balance was most important, never gave me more than I could handle and always treated me fairly. He was treated unfairly and forced out. So I run the department for the next 6 months with no raise in pay. The new manager is hired and immediately I can tell he doesn't want to keep me around because the other executives didn't like the last manager and I was friendly with him. I had even revealed to him that I was going through a very hard time due to being the only support for so long and having issues at home that could be mean the end of my marriage. I needed his help so many times but he refused knowing how difficult this was becoming. Shortly after that he fired me. I had really thought I was doing a good enough job that I could get atleast a warning but thats not what they wanted, they never spoke to me or told me anything was going on until the new manager fired me. Lesson learned, I gave them so much of my time and energy and they turned their back on me. Screw them for making me think I had actually found a company that cares, they just need a good little yes person to do all the labor while they rack up payments.
