I am sorry if this is the wrong subreddit to post in or against the rules, but I just needed to vent. I am still in shock and don’t know what to do. All of my customers loved me and I really loved my job. Yet this morning I was told there were multiple complaints about me and my boss told me they’d have to let me go if I didn’t stop wearing one of my masks so people can understand me better. He also said I need to change how I look at people and treat them? This caused a panic attack because I’ve already had anxiety dealing with so many people not masking over the course of this year, but I’ve been tolerating them, why can’t they tolerate me? Anyway, I guess I just need advice. I left work immediately and am not even sure if I’m officially fired yet, but I can’t help but feel defeated.
