Well, there was a hurricane coming to my area (Ft. Myers, FL) and I told my employer that I needed time off to bunker my home down. (Glad I did, my area was rocked by the hurricane… badly.) So the day right after the hurricane my employer texted and said that the store was open as per usual. I told them that there was no way for me to get there because of the roadways being blocked and unpassable. Was told that was an unacceptable excuse. (Yeah… not making this crap up.) So the next day I informed them that the roadways were passable for the most part and I'll make my way there. When I got there the MoD told me I left them hanging. I looked at him like wtf? Then he became upset that I questioned why he said that. He became upset and sent me home.
