Today I got fired. Because yesterday, I got way too hot and dizzy after wrapping machines in plastic. And I felt like passing out. I'm a delivery driver really, for an appliance store. But there weren't any deliveries for the day, so I was doing warehouse work. They let me leave early for the day, and then just fired me when I came in today.
I don't know what to do…. I can afford rent for 1 month, but not my car insurance…. Its been so hard looking for a job in my area as is. At least one that pays me enough that I can somewhat keep up with the price of living. I cant find a roommate neither.
I have no idea what I'm gonna do. I'm think I'm gonna have to be prepared to live in my van for a while. And it already has 231,000 miles on it and another set of problems……. So idk how long my van is gonna hold up.
Graduated in 2019. Couldn't figure out what I wanted to do right away. Job hopped for a short while, then stayed at some store as a Keyholder for 2 years. Delivered furniture and appliances and driving a box truck for a rent to own store starting late last year, and figured out i wanted to earn my CDL around that time.
I'm scheduled to take my CDL permit test next Friday, not this one coming up. I hope I pass so I can find a company who can sponsor me for driving courses. 2 companies already called and are keeping in touch with me until I can get my permit. I hope everything will work out…
