All these job listings, marketing a job using 'flexible schedule' as if thats entirely a good thing should not be doing that
Because correct me if I'm wrong but id say there's 2 types of flexible schedules one that's very ideal but almost never real and the other thats very real but almost never ideal.

The schedule is the same every week for you, but if you need to move a day to accommodate for your life like taking kids to school, doctors appointments, concerts or whatever they could arrange that for you.

Schedule changes every week, getting time off or traded shifts is incredibly difficult because they “built the schedule that way for a reason, and it wasnt asked for multiple weeks in advance” ever changing days off and start and end times, etc.
Like this isn't something I read and think “hell yeah, a flexible schedule”
I see it as staffing problems, bad scheduling, potentially poor management, not good for stability and consistency with hours or money or work-home life balance etc. etc.
Idk just an opinion/ mini rant, Lemme know your thoughts.
