FMLA Violation?

I was approved for FMLA intermittent leave due to many doctor appointments, and various other personal health issues… I filed a complaint within the company, so they could investigate my termination. Essentially, I was fired for not being able to report 2 hours of missed time on my last Friday with the company. Essentially, I was fired for not being able to report 2 hours of missed time on my last Friday with the company. They utilize an automated call in system which is frequently down, and was conveniently down that Friday.

The next Monday, I get a message from my supervisor freaking out about those 2 hours, and she was saying she was trying to mark them as FMLA for me. I was confused by her concern because my time had been retroactively changed by her for the previous two months when needed.

Next thing I know, I’m pulled into a meeting, and I was terminated for those 2 hours.

Looking back, I didn’t know enough about FMLA during my time taking it. My employer never gave individual notice or procedures to be followed. My manager was the only source of info for me.

Again, my FMLA was approved. I did have rights, and I feel like this was some type of retaliation taken against me.

Any thoughts? It has been rough without a job, having health issues, and they denied me unemployment.

Here’s a link to the document that sent me of their findings. I will be speaking with a lawyer because there’s a lot of depth to this, and a lot of contradictions within the documentation.
