So i have been at my current job ,retail cashier, since February, a month into it i i was offered Lead, which i declined because it was a full time position and im a student who values her alone time. They pressed me for it for about a month until they dropped it. That was until a new manager came and started talking to me about how they could accommodate me and make it part time hours (only closing) and that since i hate being on register the position would be perfect for me, I said i would think about. After doing research it only pays a dollar more and im expected to do the job of the managers who get paid 5 dollars over that… so i respectfully declined. But recently they have been training me to do stuff that leads do? Changing Prices, Printing Tags, being in the office ect. Which no other cashier is expected to do yet my manager pulls me aside to teach me these things and i keep asking associates that have been there alot longer than me and they said they have never been taught that….
