My manager said: everyone will get covid eventually. Let’s normalise it. People who are in close contact with covid patients must go to work unless you are positive to covid (with evidence).
Personally I think thats fucked up. The aftermath of the disease can be much worse. The patient will have permanent lungs problems. Although everyone wears masks but somehow some workers still get covid. Yesterday I have to sit with a guy who was sick. A lot of my coworkers cough violently and i dont feel safe at all working here.
Is this common in other company? Or is it just mine? Should I normalise the omnipresence of the disease and live with the new normal?
