So I have (had) a shit boss, like really bad boss.
I’ve been a victim of harassment by a guy who works next to me and is my dads age, said some really outrageous things, and even touched me inappropriately.
We were working overtime that day and I’d made up a shit lie to leave early because I had such bad anxiety and had my ptsd triggered by previous events in my life. I left that day early already working overtime, waited outside for a coworker to finish because it was my only ride home people saw me sitting outside and complained about me, texted one other kinda boss? That day who’s a woman and I felt more comfortable talking to her about it, she never replied to me, told her I was uncomfortable coming in to work and I really needed to speak to her.
Didn’t go into work the next day, went in the following day and went to find my boss (unfortunately the shit male boss)
I found him and he said we needed to talk, great I needed to talk to him too.
Started off with saying people have been complaining about me, which I’m so angry about, because I waited outside for my coworker to finish.
I told him what happened that day and do you know what this man said to me? “If I find out that you’ve thrown a man under the bus for your bad work there will be consequences”
I was absolutely shocked disgusted and completely thrown off, never thought anyone would say something like that in return.
This very obviously triggered anxiety attack and I started sobbing uncontrollably and he took me a little more seriously. Wrote down what I had to say and sent me home because I was very obviously not okay to work.
He called me said their would be an investigation.
Asked me not to come into work one day and said he was finalising the investigation. Called me back that day basically in short said hey you’re lying he’s accused you of stuff and you’re now on a behavioural contract.
His idea of separating us was moving me two people away from him. Saw the roster and quit immediately.
I’m in Australia btw but wtf do I do? I’ve basically been forced to quit I feel sick and disregarded.
