I live in Florida and we’re going to get slammed with a topical storm or hurricane soon, the company I work for is more than likely shutting down that week. The company that makes TENS OF MILLIONS of dollars a year can’t compensate us for the week, we are expected to use our vacation hours. Even if it was for half a week, it’s better than nothing!
