Forced to work 8 straight days, here’s the catch… I’m part time

Well being that this is now my EX JOB I can speak freely. I work retail at a store that will not be named and I had been granted a weekend off to go on a trip and I’d be back by Monday. But in doing so my manager scheduled me 8 straight days of work and 9 hours each shift up until I literally would be making a 5 hour drive late at night right after the 8th shift. What makes this worse is I spoke to her multiple times on occasion to ask her for just a day off in between the 8 straight days for my mental health and so I wouldn’t be being overworked. Her reply to me “You need to be a man”. Right after I see other workers have 3 days off during the week and none of them requested anything off either. We’re not understaffed. There’s seriously no reason for her have the audacity to schedule me 8 straight days AS A PART TIMER while also having my hours at 39 per week unless it’s out of spite. I asked her numerous times to respect me and not disrespect me with lame excuses. All of this while we have 2 co workers show up massively late EVERY SINGLE SHIFT and somehow she grants them whatever they want. The hypocrisy in this industry is insane. Anyways I left that toxic work environment today and I couldn’t be any happier.
