Forced to work in FROYO SHOP after surgery at 16

I was working a summer job in high school at a frozen yogurt shop and notified my manager that I would need a few days off to get my wisdom teeth out. She told me that unless I could find someone to fill in that I would need to work. I ended up having to work the next day and it was hell. I was throwing up in the bathroom, could barely talk, and customers kept asking me if I was alright due to my swollen and bruised face. Mind you I was SIXTEEN and this was a FROZEN YOGURT SHOP. I didn't really realize the abuse that this was until recently and cannot believe that people think that treating any workers like this is acceptable.

This business was the beloved Nectar Frozen Yogurt in Portland, Oregon. Put them on blast.
