I was not feeling too well the other day so, so I went home sick, missed the following day, but was told I had to work the day after because it's a blackout day since it was memorial day. So there I am, stuffy nose, sneezing everywhere, water eyes, headache, coughing, loudly, showing tons of symptoms of what we've dealt with for over 2 years(thankfully it wasn't) still at work, still around customers, holding product that others will handle, all because it's a blackout day. This shit is nonsense, I was clearly sick, my symptoms could not be faked and I'm most likely spreading germs everywhere and unsure if it was the one we've been trying to avoid this whole time, all because the higher ups decided we couldn't call in sick. At the very least, why couldn't they send me home once they saw how obviously sick I was?
