I'm a server at a breakfast place and yesterday I was throwing up and having diarrhea during my shift and felt feverish, but was not allowed to go home because they didn't have a thermometer to prove that I had a fever. I went to urgent care last night, I have the flu. I got a doctors note but not sure what else to do at this point. I've wanted to leave for a while, I've been applying for all sorts of jobs but nothing has worked out so far.
