Hello, I’m not sure if I can ask here but my wife’s work is requiring that she video calls her manager while she takes a COVID test to see the results. To my understanding isn’t this against HIPAA? I am in the US and can she technically decline and it’s seen as not consenting? To add to this: this would be from home off their premises and on her time as she isn’t on the clock while she has COVID and to my knowledge they wouldn’t be paying her for her time to do it.
