Forget the 4 day work week, I want a seasonal work model

By nature humans are supposed to work harder during the warmer months and slow down/hibernate during the colder months. Its normal to feel sluggish and slow during winter because our bodies want us to rest, yet were still expected to have the same output at work. Its unnatural. What if we had normal work during summer/spring/autumn and then during winter we, as a collective, go into a reduced state where only essential stores are open for business (like when we were in lockdown during covid). Attending essential work would be on a rotational model with other members of your town. It would be like doing community service and you would be paid an appropriate wage. The purpose is to do the bare minimum to keep the essentials going. Idk random idea but I feel like seasonal work would be so much more fulfilling. We're not supposed to work during winter.
