Have been working from home for last 2.5 yrs,
Manager texted me asking to relocate (2500km from hometown) as it's not working out for her and targets not being met after multiple warnings.
My reply in one sentence was “It won't make any difference in my performance so I can't relocate.”
Later in the day she called on MS teams saying how shamelessly I said it won't make any difference.
They've been trying to blackmail me for long time using WFH as a bargain for meeting targets. I've cleared the clouds now and won the WFH indefinitely.
