My boss just told me something infuriating. Apparently at my company, executives not only make 6 figure salaries and get annual bonuses around $50k, but also receive financial assistance when buying a home.
And I don’t know, call me crazy, but I just feel like if someone is making that much money they’re not necessarily someone who needs help paying for a home.
I’m not saying that the lower positions like mine are the ones that deserve financial assistance. I just think it’s weird that those who are already given so much get that much more. You know what I mean? It feels like an unnecessary benefit, one that has such less value to someone in their position.
It really is true. The rich get richer…
Am I wrong for thinking this? Am I not understanding?
