Not sure if this is the right sub but I could use some advice. I just started a new job last Monday and I’m training with one other new hire for the same position. She casually referenced her pay which is $1 more than I make per hour. I know it’s not a huge difference but every dollar counts. It might be important to mention that she is a rehire as she has worked this position before but she is going through the same new hire training that I am. Is this something I can bring up to my manager as a concern? I don’t see why she would be making more for the same position. Any advice is appreciated, thank you!
