I work weekend nights at a hospital, sitting in a back office waiting for a phone to ring. Its the easiest job in the world and aside from the hour demands (12 hour shifts, never having a weekend off) I was pretty satisfied with it and the pay, however there’s been some personal turnover and the worker who trained me who I Loved was replaced by the Colin Robinson of people. This bitch is seriously the most soul sucking boring bitch I have ever met in my life, two minutes into meeting her and she’s telling me about her teenage sons first sexual encounter, which, So gross, why do I need to know that and who just goes telling strangers that stuff????
That being said she was put on her own weekend nights checking people into the er (far away from where I work, but same department) and now my boss is on my to stay and baby sit her.
First off, I don’t know why when she’s bad at her job I get more work, I’m not getting a raise, why should I be doing more?
Secondly, I don’t want to be in the er, I didn’t interview for that job, I don’t get paid for it, it’s stressful and demanding and I’d rather die. So I truly don’t know what my boss is getting at with this.
All of this would probably be different this coworker wasn’t a goddamn know it all racist who can’t shut the fuck up for two seconds.
