Frustrations with schedules and part time work Omg

Truthfully, though I don’t dream of work. I don’t mind doing stuff. I enjoy my animal care based job even tho it is buried beneath retail…. But I am forever frustrated by the act which is “cover yourself” when stuff comes up at workplaces – I directly posted about my guilt when I need to call out for any reason in a job-specific group. Only to be commented with “then you get someone to switch you shouldn’t be calling out unless you are sick” I work 5/6 days a week at a part time job – I get no benefits and have a WILD schedule. Sometimes stuff comes up. And the boot licker always go to work mentality is frustrating. It isn’t coworkers fault if your place doesn’t staff for humanity. But it also isn’t right to expect people to miss every “less than a month in advanced” thing that…

It isn’t coworkers fault if your place doesn’t staff for humanity.
But it also isn’t right to expect people to miss every “less than a month in advanced” thing that happens in their life for the entire time they work there. Sure sometimes accidentally it’s a day off, but when that doesn’t happen? The world doesn’t stop spinning – and the workplace won’t stop spinning if you don’t go !
