My grocery store ranks NUMBER ONE in sales for our Midwest US chain, but corporate is forcing us to reduce hours. People can’t pay rent on shortened hours so they quit. Stop your boomer nonsense that they don’t want to work. We do. Even I am full time, but they’ve cut MY hours, too!
Customers are commenting on slipping service. I‘ve told them, when they threaten to go elsewhere, “You need to do what’s right for you.” But I think now I’m just going to be up front and tell them to complain at the corporate level, because we aren’t being given the time to provide service anymore. Hmmm… I need to keep that phone number handy…
