So I took a sick day from the office today and according to the rules over here apparently you don’t get paid for sick leave during probation.
Fine unfair and stupid but that’s just maybe how the law works but then the HR proceeded to call me to ask me why I’m sick and taking sick leave during probation. And he tells me “you need to manage your health in some way and not take sick days cus the management doesn’t appreciate people taking sick days especially during probation”
Trust me if my visa wasn’t on the line I’d have quit right there and then.
