Hey guys, I am about to make an important decision tomorrow that will effect one of the local gas stations near me that I often go to. I spoke with two employees there after I talked about some negative interactions I have had with the newer general manager there, and it turns out there is way more going on within the group of people who work there.
From what I have been told, this person placed in charge here is basically a callous bully to not only me, but several people working there. (i.e. yelling at coworkers, causing a problem with a register and blaming it on others, treating customers like they are a burden, possibly drinking during work, etc.) More than one person has quit- and my favorite person(the gas station lead) to see every week is about to quit this next month.
SO – that leaves me with an opportunity to express my personal conflicts that I had with this general manager by writing a letter to the corporate office- along with an ex employees personal experience with this same person to try and remove someone as a manager.
The question I have right now to you guys is will I be making things worse if I send this letter to the corporate office? I don't want this person to stay and keep making things worse for everyone. I want to help in some way, and since I am a regular customer I can at least make some sort of attempt to remove an extremely disrespectful, manipulative, degrading person from a position they absolutely should not be in.
