Gave them the same courtesy they gave me

I’ve been working at a logistics company for a year. I moved up from 2nd shift to first and was training my replacement. The lady wasn’t cutting it so they moved her to another building with half the responsibilities of 2nd shift. When I complained, the office manager told me they dropped the ball and forgot to tell me that the responsibilities would stay with me since she was in a different building. They wanted me to push my schedule back so I could cover the front office until the other 2nd shift person would get there. So I would be on a stupid late split shift. So I dropped the ball and didn’t tell them that today would be my last day. Turned in my resignation letter with no notice. I’ve never felt so free.
