There is nothing more pathetic than an employer that treats its hurt employees like trash. I got hurt back in December 2021. I am still trying to get properly back to work. Amazon will not let you back easily because they want you to stay on leave. They do not accommodate. They just cut your hours. The whole process is set up to be as traumatic and inefficient as possible. Have a problem? Who should you call? Well if you call hr they will send you to leave services who will send you to accommodation services who will send you back to hr. And repeat. For every. Little. Thing. I am supposed to be back to work on my 4hr adjusted schedule (the alternative was a chair, but that they will just not do). Instead I am still technically on leave in the system, which has happened before too. So I can't clock in or access the training. Can I get that fixed at the hr desk on site? No, of course not.
Forced onto leave because they won't accommodate? They will steal your hours of upt until you call and ask them to change it back. Want them to answer an email? 2 weeks minimum to wait on hold while you stress each time. Oh and you wanted to return to the job you were doing? Hah! Retrained from day one and they will not send you back to problem solve or ambassador or even to your department. You mean nothing to Amazon and they make sure you know it. Oh and are you an English speaker? Too bad no one on the phone speaks it without an accent so heavy that it is basically not English.
Almost by design… to frustrate and traumatize you into quiting so they don't have to fire the cripple.
