Recently started to get hated on by how much I earn, especially on antiwork communities and it seems ridiculious to me. For perspective, in 2021 I earned slightly above 400k. I am not company owner, I am not CEO, I am not even a manager. I work in highly skiller IT field and I am expert in it. I have few subordinates that help me if I need anything, but I am not their direct supervisor, I can't fire or promote them. If we do a project and I know people with less skill can take of some of the load from me so I could concentrate on hard part I ask project manager to allocate some of the people to help me. That's it.
Somehow I often get viewed as villain just because I earn so much, but everything I earn comes from the job I do as I am not getting payed by what other people create or anything like that. Why some people of antiwork communities hates on people who simply earn a lot?
