So left a job I worked at for nearly two years because I started losing interest, was very hard to be motivated to work and the general typical workplace issues. Got a new job and been working there for just over the last 3 months. The place started going really downhill at one point and during that time, a job I applied for months ago reached out and asked if I wanted it still and thought “sure, why not perfect timing”. So I kept my current job just incased the new job wasn’t better. So I did a few shifts there and ended up being very boring and so very slow so I thought “Well I gave it a try and its not for me”. Now I want to quit it but my family is giving me the whole “Not every job is gonna be perfect” and “Its not always gonna be greener on the other side” stuff. Personally I think what they’re saying would have some merit to it if I left my current job, but I didn’t.
So are they right?
