Hey I'm giving my two weeks notice but in my industry it's common to just let people go once they say their leavjng the day of. My coworker said that if they let me go after i give the 2 weeks notice they might still have to pay me the 2 weeks, I'm not sure if this is true or not. Can anyone confirm or deny if there's any basis to this? I am in Nova Scotia Canada.
