I work as a property management administrator for the GM…. So, the last 2/3 weeks I have been covering in the maintenance department, as an administrator (because someone quit & then the new hire for this role worked one day & never came back). I was under the impression that it was temporary because MY GM NEVER HAD A FORMAL CONVERSATION OR EVEN A CASUAL CONVERSATION regarding the position change. I come into work this morning and find out that a new girl was hired yesterday & was sitting in my desk….. I had no knowledge of this, nor did the GM reach out in email, person, text that I would be in the maintenance department permanently.. obviously this is extremely unprofessional.. but, is this also something I can reach out to HR about?
