About three weeks ago, I got covid and missed work for three days. I asked my GM to put in 18 hours of paid sick leave, and he told me he would. Fast forward to pay day, I’m missing the sick hours. It took me 24 hours to get a hold of GM (on vacation of course). The second image on shows his increasing irritability toward me. Was I unprofessional in this encounter? I wouldn’t have caused such a fuss except I am the fifth employee he’s done this to in the last few months. What should I do moving forward?
