Like the title says, I got a job offer for lower than what I told them my salary expectations were prior to the 3 rounds of interviews. So like any rational person, I told them that and made a counter for more. In addition I asked for more vacation days than the letter stated too because 10 days was not enough. They came back and said “we can’t meet this” and kindly told them, I’m open to negotiating but was met with silence. I’m keeping it vague in the slim chance it can be salvaged but this job would have been significantly less travel. I’m assuming I dodged a bullet but I’m still upset.
