Got a new job but it’s been a rocky start

I applied for a new job about a month ago. Pay looked good, and I had been unemployed for almost 2 months at this point. I go in for the interview and it goes smoothly. Up to now I wasn't too worried about the job, but now I'm beginning to question even starting my first day: 1. At the interview, B (boss) asks me if I am OK with starting out with $13.50 instead of $14.00 if within 2 months I can begin getting paid $14. That's fine, why not. 2. After waiting almost 3 weeks for my background check and drug test to arrive, I'm asked if I would mind working for $12.80 an hour. I applied for a new job about a month ago. Pay looked good, and I had been unemployed for almost 2 months at this point. I go in for the interview and it goes smoothly. Up to now I wasn't too worried about the job, but now I'm beginning to question even starting my first day:
Once again, I'm pressed, but agree as long as our original agreement is honored (I get $14/h after 2 months with the company)
3. Find out 6 days ago that they forgot to send my drug test and forgot to tell me that they completed my drug test form and I was good to take it.
4. Told B about my mental health and how I was prescribed Medical Marijuana during the interview, and now he's asking for a doctor's note from who diagnosed me even though he said I'd be fine as long as I didn't do it at work.
5. Told B today about my college schedule and asked if he could work me in around it so I can take classes and such without being overwhelmed by work (We talked about this during the interview) He tells me “Our specialist manager will go over all of that with you.”

My question: Should I even continue with the hiring process? I thought things would be alright since I have a buddy who loves working here, but after seeing how incompetent the manager is, I'm not sure it's the best idea. I'm looking for better paying jobs now, but I wanted a second opinion. Thanks yall.
