Got a new job, gave 2.5 weeks notice. CFO asked me to ask my new employer to push back my start date because “they’re gaining a resource, but we’re losing one. They’ll have to understand! You have the leverage, not them!”

1) not doing that lol 2) I think what she fails to see is that I have the leverage with my current employer, so best believe I’ll be leaving when I say I am, but offer to act as a consultant/part time employee at double/triple my hourly rate for the current gig I have screamed from the mountain tops that we need more cross training so people can take vacations and I keep getting told to “stay in you lane”. Just took an off ramp, you assholes!
