the owner seemed to like me it’s difficult to feel hopeful about a good outcome when i’ve applied to nearly 150 jobs since early september and barely got any responses let alone interviews.
admittedly my updated/redone resume is helping but they’re interviewing one other person and it’s hard not to feel like this is going to slip away for some minor reason.
it’s the first job i really care about after 5 years of drudgery. i’m supposed to hear back on a decision in the next 2 days but it’s just horrible to wait. i have another interview lined up at some retail place as a backup but man… this job market really sucks
