TLDR: Boss fired me cause I have “low self confidence”
I have posted on this subreddit about my bosses, to give a brief explanation it was my first week or so of work. My bosses only saw me work twice and it does not have any positions or managers. My boss during that time said “ I obviously don’t care about my job because I stand around” and that I could be “ looking at products.” Afterwords I sorted through dog food for two hours. Even though I just started and cared.
Now here is the update of that post and it has gotten worse.
I basically worked two weeks worth of shifts. On my final day of work (that I did not know was my final day…) They did a review. During my “review” it was not about my actual work nor my skills. They only spoke about my “vibe” it is not what you are thinking. I was never rude, nor inconsiderate. I tried my hardest at my job regardless of anxiety which I am diagnosed with.
During my review they stated that I put a bad image on the store due to me not being a outgoing person. They stated I radiated low self confidence and nervousness. I mean who wouldn’t after their boss said previously something to you like that previously? After this review I went back to work.
Now yesterday my boss texted me asking if I can change my schedule and cover a shift. I obligated. I had plans for today but changed due to the shift I covered. When I arrived at work they pulled me into the office and told me they already put my resignation in. They stated to me “ Because you don’t have a big personality and your obviously not cut out for this job we are putting your resignation.”
They made me drive 20 minutes to cover somebody’s shift, and with no warning told me that I am fired.
