The wording on the letter says
“XXXX is filing a labor certification and is required to send this Job
Description and Requirements to you as you were recently laid off and fall into the
same labor category as the applicant. Please review the Job Description and
Requirements below and apply if you feel you would qualify.”
also
“THIS NOTICE IS BEING PROVIDED IN ANTICIPATION OF THE
FILING OF AN APPLICATION FOR PERMANENT ALIEN LABOR
CERTIFICATION FOR THE ABOVE POSITION.”
So it seems like they're posting it so they can claim they couldn't find someone so they could underpay someone overseas. It has a mailing address for the Department of Labor as well, is there anything I can do to throw a wrench in their plan? No doubt applying would just get me rejected for an arbitrary reason
