So I applied for a job as a software developer at this company where I was supposed to work on an app that allows patients to talk to doctors over video calls. Here’s how it went
Interview 1:
Spoke to the recruiter around 45 minutes discussing my experience & expectations.
Interview 2:
Spoke to someone from the company. Discussed my experience & expectations.
Interview 3:
2 hours long live coding exercise over a video call with screen share. Had to make an app from scratch with given requirements.
Interview 4:
2 hours long interview where I discussed my coding assignment and answered other questions.
Interview 5:
30 mins long culture fit interview.
Interview 6:
Another 30 minutes long culture fit interview.
Interview 7:
An hour long Interview with Founders.
And here’s the most fun part – they rejected me because I was not passionate enough about medical record systems. Are you fuc*in kidding me?
I guess I dodged a bullet here though. Kinda glad I didn’t end up working with someone that delusional.
