I work for a small company thats gone through a lot of changes. We have a new CMO and in a 1 on 1 she left an open question: anything else? And I mentioned that though my boss has never complained, she's working until 11p and on weekends. She said they're aware and thanked me, said they can do more to alleviate that and give her the space to say no to things. This had great organizational results.
Today she calls me to tell me be careful what I say to the boss's boss's boss, thanked me for my candor because it really affected positive change, and not to read into it. Im confused. I helped but don't do it again? Feeling shut down rn. Not good for a skeleton crew.
