Got terminated at work on my 3rd official training day.

I got two job offers and decided to accept the one that allowed remote for some flexibility which also paid less but I figure the money I would save from gas would make up for it. I was employed for 8 days.. the first week (five business days) I was pretty much sitting around for them to get their system back up. This didn’t happen until my 5th day which I was just allowed to shadow and make some calls. On my 6th day was my first official day learning the system in a new industry. They had me code some bill of ladings into the system. I didn’t know how it worked and was asking many questions about the various companies to get some background and knowledge to be able to identify the coding. On my 7th day.. I came into the office and no one was there. I was left alone for half my shift. I was sent an email to code some more bill of ladings, do some banking sheet, and some work on excel. My trainer shows up on the 5th hour of my shift asking me why I haven’t done much. I had explained to her that I was unsure of what to do since I was left alone to do a task that I know nothing about. The next day, my 8th day, I walk into the office to see the manager who hired me only to tell me I was terminated due to the lack of skills. I tried to explain that it was an entire brand new industry and was completely transparent during my interview. They gave my my physical check and to top it off, the manager told me that if I ever need anything he would be more than happy to write me a letter of recommendation lol. I was so in shock because this had never happened to me before. Better now than later I guess but he sure did me a favor. I will be so much more cautious and listen to the red flag next time. Everyone was always late, I would have to stand outside with no key, I was expected to know everything by the time the system was back up, and was left alone majority of my training. My trainer also said to me that she was purposely making me drown lol, what has this world come to?
