Turns out they were making $5/hour plus the PRIVILEGE to get a 50% discount on their gym membership (we all get this). I sent this to the owner as a farewell gift. → after 3 years of waiting; 3 yrs of using the pandemic to play off our raises… today, I saw my first yearly raise since I started with this company in 2019.
