I didn't plan on it but these new self scan machines just aren't scanning everything, and I don't mind paying but I'm not gonna self police if nobody cares.
Brought 5 items or less to self checkout and the scanner wouldnt scan so I payed for half and got a healthy discount, I tried very hard to actually scan multiple times but it didn't work…
Then the machine said it will get someone, so I started paying and left before anyone could come to monitor or talk to me.. turns out there was already someone there and they didn't care at all so I smiled and left
