May get hate for this but I work door to door. While there is a huge stigma around door to door people I have to say I love what I do and love the company I work for. I’m paid hourly as an appointment setter for home improvement estimates. Everyone I work with are great people we are never pushy because we don’t have to be. We are paid hourly. Yet still we have guns pulled on us all the time. We live in a very liberal city in a very liberal state yet people still will pull guns on us and tell us to “ leave their property “ we call the police every time it happens yet they refuse to do anything. It makes me scared to do my job that I enjoy so much. While most of my day is spent talking to wonderful people who realize we are just working a job to get by like everyone else, there are still so many people who treat us like gum on the bottom of their shoes. My main point here is to hopefully get a message out to people that door to door marketers are people too and how would you feel having guns pulled on you at work regularly.
