Had an interview with 40 minute notice. After an hour of my time I got told I can’t be hired.

I got an interview with a 40 minute notice. Got ready real quick and drove 30 minutes there. After filling out some papers and talking for 40 minutes I got told I can't be hired because of driving record. Way to waste my time!
