Been working at a hospital for 3+ years. During COVID I got redeployed to another department that handled infection prevention measures & was on the front lines. Now that infection rates have plummeted I thought I’d be going back to my original department. Nope.
When I asked for a raise for taking on all this additional work that I never signed up to do, I got 44 cents and an atta girl.
Was told I couldn’t do my work from home now either after proving that I could.
I have a virtual team meet & greet lined up for another organization this week. It’s the last thing in the interview process. It’ll be a remote job, better pay, not front line work & working in record management which is my passion. I’m dying to get this job. Please put some good vibes, prayers, etc. towards me!
