Pretty much as the title says. I have posted other problems about my boss but man this guy is just the worst. I found out on Wednesday last week that i was going to have to be the only one “On Call” for the company over the holiday since everyone else took time off. Now i didn’t take time off because he would not let me take more than 5 vacation days a year (even though we have “Unlimited” vacation). Believe me i tried and he refused it. My company was supposed to have Friday and Monday off as the observed Christmas vacation days. Well since i was the only one on call i got called in literally every single day and had to work 8-10 hour days to fix all the problems my entire group would normally be responsible for. I have only been at this job 6 months and many things took me a long time because I simply do not know how to do them. I lost 4 days off as well as other weekend days. My boss refuses to allow me any time off saying I’ve hit my max. Im breaking right now because in reality with all the days off i was supposed to have and had to work. With me being on call 24/7. I have literally had no vacation days or time off. 50 hour weeks every week because my boss wont allow any less. I hate working here so so much. Im calling in sick the rest of the year and he can be on call for new years. No way am i losing my final 2 holidays I’m supposed to have.
