I recently quit my job for a new position and raise.
In the beginning of the year, I expressed concerns about pay and requested a 15K raise to 60K. I worked 40-60 hours a week, cleaned up an administrative mess last year when I started the new role, didn't take time off, was a top sales performer across the company. I was given an “above average” raise of 3K. Didn't even meet inflation percentage in Canada. Resigned this week after getting a new position with a pay increase of 10K.
Just saw them post the hiring ad for my position at 50K-55K, more than what I was making after 3 years with the company. How would you feel about this?
