Has anyone else reached the conclusion that the economic downturn was manufactured to exterminate everyone that can’t be replaced by technological advancement soon?

The only reason I'm posting this is because I haven't seen anyone else talking about it, but I'm positive I'm not the only one. We're not going to eliminate the need to work for most people in the future. The only people that will ever be able to avoid working for a living is the very rich. The people that control resources will never provide them to people that don't provide something they need out of the goodness of their hearts. All they have to do is keep wages low and assistance hard to get and wait us out. With a clear conscience, the abundantly rich are just letting everyone that can't be replaced by tech in the near future be exterminated by poverty. It's the perfect plan. We continue working like dogs until they develop the technology to replace us. When we're no longer needed, we're laid off or…
