I had a really mean manager who accused me of falsifying my resume. I couldn’t believe it! I told her to please contact each department listed on my resume to verify! I told her I have absolutely no problem with her calling to verify. I don’t know why she kept accusing me. Then she made up a test for me. She told me if I pass the test she will let me stay and if I fail the test I will be fired. I took the test, and I passed. She even blurted out, “Wow, you do know this stuff!” As if she were shocked. The next day she called me into her office. She told me, “Yes, you did get the answers correct, but I was expecting more than just answers. I wanted explanation to how you solved each problem.” Then she handed me a slip and told me,”I’m recommending HR discipline you.”Unbelievable!! I’m not even sure what I did! I completed all my assignments and with flying colors, yet she kept accusing me of not knowing my job and stated I lied about my work history. I tried to contact lawyers, but they said there’s nothing they can do unless it’s discrimination based on race or gender and it isn’t unfortunately, she was just a psychotic b*tch! I left on stress and didn’t even go HR. I’ve secured a new job with a much nicer boss. Has anyone ever been through anything similar?
